A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in the Northern suburbs of Denver, Colorado, serving a smaller district with 16 sites and approximately 7,000 students. This role is based at a Pre-K through 8th-grade site with a focus on Mild to Moderate special education needs, including some Pre-K students. The position offers meaningful work delivering counseling services, conducting assessments and evaluations, and collaborating with IEP teams to support student success.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing direct counseling and psychological services to students.
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to inform individualized education plans.
- Serving as the case manager for assigned students, coordinating all aspects of IEP implementation.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to address student needs.
- Maintaining compliance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentialing requirements.
Ideal Candidates Will Possess
- A valid Colorado Department of Education credential as a School Psychologist, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Experience or willingness to manage IEP case management duties.
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
- Flexibility to participate in a two-step interview process, beginning with a virtual screening followed by a panel interview.
- Openness to relocation support if currently outside the region.
This role is a contracted, full-time position (37.5 hours/week) located in Aurora, offering a supportive environment receptive to both new graduates and experienced professionals. Note that hybrid or VOCO arrangements are not accepted.
